As a past CCU nurse and BLS/ACLS instructor, I was always fascinated by the heart and the miracle of its function. That became personal when my Dad survived a myocardial infarction. His recovery showed me the power of research, technology, prevention and awareness. This challenge is about survival, reflection, and bringing home learning and hope into my life and those around me and in support of the Irish Heart Foundation
