The Cause
Life after a heart event or stroke is never the same. Someone’s world can be turned upside down when their abilities completely change, reshaping how they live in the world. They are forced to learn to manage their body’s new energy and capabilities in daily life and reimagine their lives going forward.
And that’s why we are taking 14 participants on this epic challenge to raise funds and awareness of the impacts of stroke and heart disease. This challenge will be about learning new skills in a tough environment and carrying on even when it’s hard, because that’s what those living with the effects of a stroke or heart condition must do every day.
